Manufacturing Monday | 150 Roses

TJL shares it’s founding year with the birth year of renowned Scottish architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh who was born this week, 155 years ago.

As part of the Mackintosh Club’s 150 Roses exhibition, TJL’s manufacturing division created 150 bespoke tiles to be displayed above the other exhibits. Each individually numbered tile was made from 6mm MDF and sprayed bright red creating a wonderful contrast to the club’s dark ceiling beams.

The roses were hung in the hall of the Mackintosh Club in Helensburgh as part of the ‘Light, Resurrection & Skies of Pink’ exhibit which ran throughout the summer of 2018. Our client was delighted with the work carried out by our team & commented: “thank you for driving this one, and delivering on time – it just shows that even a small job like this one gets the fullest attention.”
