The works comprised the fit-out of an empty shell to form a new British Airways executive lounge, with entire new partitions, floor, wall and ceiling finishes, bespoke joinery items, new toilet facilities, kitchen area, loose furniture, FF&E items, relocation and refurbishment of existing mechanical ceiling equipment and new mechanical and electrical works.
All works were undertaken within a live Airport environment, consequently a phasing programme was devised to ensure that the sequencing of the works flowed in a logical manner enabling both high quality finishes to be achieved and to minimise the impact on disruption to staff, customers and operations.
