Recently brought back into the InterContinental Hotel Group, we carried out a full, phased hotel rebranding and refurbishment while the property was trading under the Principal Hotel brand. The majority of works focused on restoring and upgrading the hotel’s 6 Grade II listed townhouses in Edinburgh’s city centre.

Throughout the 12 month project, we worked closely with the client to ensure that a full phasing plan was in place to allow the property to remain operational despite the scale of the works. Our team successfully delivered a new hotel with grandeur evident throughout. A stunning lobby area, updated and luxurious bedrooms and a hip coffee shop, bar and brasserie-style restaurant are just some of the new elements which have styled the old-fashioned hotel without it losing its much-loved character and charm.
