Lower Gilmore Place: Getting Set for the New Semester

Works are coming on at pace at our Lower Gilmore Place project for Glencairn Properties.

Externally, a section of scaffolding has come down, revealing the beautiful grey brickwork below, and windows have been installed ready for Juliette balconies to be fitted. Groundworks have also begun to install an 18,000-liter, underground water tank behind the building. This will supply some of the building’s WCs and along with roof-mounted solar panels, is part of the development’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

Work is also well underway internally with decoration works in student rooms beginning; kitchenettes are being fitted and the prefabricated shower room units are being connected in each apartment.

The new-build project is well on its way to welcoming its first residents for the upcoming term.
