The project, for previous client St Leonard’s School, saw our site team restore this B-listed building in the heart of St Andrews to create five self-contained luxury apartments.

Due to its age, significant structural works had to be carried out to retain the original fabric of the building, which sits adjacent to the Pends.  Fabric repairs were carried out to ensure the building is now fit for purpose for residents. These comprised rot works, strengthening of the existing structure, and service upgrades. External restoration work was also carried out to the roof and stonework, with window repairs. Internally, the historic fabric and features, including specialist repairs to decorative cornicing, have been retained as far as possible whilst upgrading the apartments to meet modern needs and building regulations.

The fantastic finishes seen throughout each of the 5 apartments, stairwell and corridors were completed by our Decorating division.
