Working with Fitzsimons Cost Consultants and Project Management and Graven Images, we undertook a programme of works to transform two old-fashioned jewellery stores into a new retail space.  The project centred around the creation of a new jewellery retail concept in the ROX flagship store, with an upstairs “thrill room” and champagne bar.

Following the general downtakings (including the protection and preservation of existing features), a number of structural alterations were carried out.  A large glazed skylight and atrium was created at the centre of the premises, with a fully mirrored ceiling to the thrill room and chandeliers, a display table and traditional cabinetry.  The ground floor was also significantly altered and reworked with adjacent and basement back shop and office facilities to meet the store’s requirements.

Numerous custom manufactured joinery pieces were design developed, manufactured and installed as part of this multi-trade project which involved both tight access and a strict programme.

The overall result is a very successful retail concept which conveys the desired theme and creates the atmosphere which shoppers expect when visiting the premium jewellers.
