Dormy Clubhouse

Alteration to, and refurbishment of the existing Dormy Clubhouse within the Gleneagles Estate to form a high quality venue fitting with the 2014 Ryder Cup Venue.

Located adjacent to the 18th hole of the Kings course Gleneagles, we successfully completed the refurbishment and extension of the existing Dormy Clubhouse, with a specific focus on enhancing the customer experience of this facility. The works comprised of the strip out of existing internal finishes, reconfiguration of the existing spaces including structural alterations and opening up of public areas, new shop facility, changing rooms, dining area and kitchen facilities, as well as a new front elevation entrance extension.

The project was complex in it’s very nature and was further complicated by the age of the existing building and it’s location within the 5 star resort which continued to trade throughout the full project duration. The works were successfully completed on programme and handed over in time for the new golfing season and hotels guests requirements.

This facility now fits in with the Hotels requirements both currently and in the near future with the up coming Ryder Cup and is finished to the standards required of this very demanding client.
