We carried out two phases of works for this project, the first was to form apartments in Advocates Close and the second saw us create offices in the basement area  of the building to be used by Chris Stewart Group who we have worked closely with on a number of projects.

Winner of the ‘Andrew Doolan Award’, the Advocates Close development was transformed from an empty shell to have 14 new high end, serviced apartments with a private gym area for guests.

The works we carried out included extensive sound proofing, significant M&E installations, premium internal finishes and decoration, new fitted kitchens, fully tiled bathrooms and en-suite facilities. Our manufacturing division were also part of this project; manufacturing a number of bespoke joinery components including headboards, TV units, wardrobes and seating.

The listed building presented a number of challenges, the least of which was the prime city centre location with tight access. Furthermore, areas of the building remained operational throughout the works. Nevertheless, all works were delivered within budget and on programme for a delighted Client.

This project was followed by the negotiation of the £14.3m formation and fit-out of The Edinburgh Grand, a prestigious aparthotel at 42 St Andrews Square. Read more about this project here.
