Appointed following competitive tender, we undertook an extensive programme of refurbishment, modernisation and extension to the existing clubhouse of the fourth oldest golf society in the world, Bruntsfield Links.

The scope of works required us to deliver the project whilst the facilities remained fully operational. This included the locker rooms, showers and toilets; the newly formed visitors lounge; the fully refurbished existing members lounge; and a range of structural works. Whilst these facilities were already of a high standard, it was felt that an enlarged visitor’s lounge to encourage new members would encroach on the facilities for existing full members and that as such upgrading to this area would also be required.

Quality and delivery were of an exacting standard and sample finishes were applied to ensure that the finished products were to the client’s expectations. A split programme of 26 weeks was agreed with a clean handover achieved on the agreed date.
