TJL were delighted to return to the InterContinental Edinburgh the George as the Main Contractor for the creation of Scotland’s first Le Petit Beefbar.

Housed in the hotel’s grand dining room, the Main Restaurant, Casual Dining and Member’s Area have all been completely reimagined as part of the refurbishment project.  The bar in the new member’s area was shortened and moved to allow for more seating in the space.  New wooden flooring was installed to replace the bar’s previous vinyl floor covering and stained to match the rest of the area.  Jewel-toned furniture in yellow tourmaline and topaz pop against the dark emerald walls and walnut-finished bar.

Several of the venue’s new furniture items were created in Thomas Johnstone’s 30,000 sq. ft. Manufacturing facility based within the new Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District for Scotland (AMIDS).  Find out more about these pieces here.
