Working in collaboration with TJL’s specialist Fit-Out division, TJL’s Manufactured Joinery division created several bespoke elements for this sophisticated new restaurant in Edinburgh’s Intercontinental Edinburgh The George Hotel.

Our team worked with the existing bar’s base and replaced the stone top and front cladding. A number of bespoke items were created for the casual dining area, such as booth seating, glass-topped tables and the maître d’ station, which welcomes guests to the luxury steakhouse.

Within the formal dining area, our Manufactured Joinery division also created banquette seating, server stations, a buffet counter, and display stands, all stained with a dark walnut finish and many clad with oak tambour detailing.

Our Manufacturing division also created 2no feature high tables with inlaid stone tops for the Members Bar.

The dark wood used throughout these pieces adds to the opulent feel of the prestigious restaurant.
