Working with Fitzsimons Cost Consultants and Project Management and Graven Images, we undertook a programme of works to transform two old-fashioned jewellery stores into a new retail space.  The project centred around the creation of a new jewellery retail concept in the ROX flagship store, with an upstairs “thrill room” and champagne bar.

To begin, we carried out general strip-out works, including the protection and preservation of original features. Once this was complete, we moved on to structural changes. Most notably, a large glazed skylight and central atrium were installed to bring natural light into the heart of the space. In addition, the thrill room above was enhanced with a fully mirrored ceiling, feature chandeliers, a bespoke display table, and traditional cabinetry to elevate the luxury feel.

Meanwhile, the ground floor layout was completely reworked. Alongside this, we redeveloped the adjacent and basement areas to create new back-of-house and office facilities that better supported the operational needs of the store.

As part of the wider works, numerous bespoke joinery pieces were designed, manufactured, and installed. Despite the challenges of restricted site access and a tight programme, the project was delivered smoothly and on time.

Ultimately, the finished space delivers a bold and engaging retail concept that captures the brand’s vision and creates the premium experience expected by ROX customers.
