Vega Bar Refurbishment Glasgow – Project Overview
Our Small Works division led the refurbishment of the seventh-floor Vega bar in Glasgow as part of the client’s drive to optimise space and increase capacity from approximately 130 to 250 covers.
Working within a busy city-centre location presented logistical challenges, with all materials and equipment transported through restricted lift access to the top floor. Our Small Works team coordinated the programme efficiently to ensure work progressed smoothly despite these constraints.
The project included the creation of a new U-shaped bar and meet-and-greet station, the re-upholstery of existing booth seating, and the installation of decorative partitions to transform the flow and feel of the venue. Bespoke tables, screening, and a new servery feature enhanced the space while maintaining continuity with the venue’s existing style.
This refurbishment was delivered in close collaboration with our in-house Manufactured Joinery division, who produced key elements within our 30,000 sq ft facility, before our Small Works team carried out final installation on site. Together, these efforts have created a vibrant new space that balances style, durability, and functionality — ensuring Vega can welcome more guests in comfort.
