We were engaged by Virgin Money to strip out and refurbish the lower ground, first, second and third floors of an existing office development to form their new Head Office in Edinburgh’s city centre.

The works included the formation of a new atrium complete with a steel staircase incorporating glazed balustrades from the 2^nd – 3^rd floors, the replacement of the existing air conditioning, ventilation, lighting and IT installations and the upgrading of the associated mechanical and electrical services. Our site team also created cellular offices which comprised a mixture of plasterboard and glazed demountable partitions. Together with the formation of a new M/F acoustic ceiling, complete with extensive lighting features, the replacement of all floor finishes and the installation of various tea preparation areas and kitchens: the internal spaces of the building were completely transformed.

Our in-house manufacturing team also worked with the client and their design team to create bespoke IT infrastructure solutions. We also supplied and installed manufactured joinery items including feature veneer panelling to walls and ceilings, meeting booths, training and post rooms. Our Decorating team also carried out all associated decoration to wall, ceilings, doors and skirtings.
