This £1.4m project involved the comprehensive fit-out of existing premises for the Law Department of The University of Strathclyde. The existing Lord Hope Building required substantial modernisation to form high specification office accommodation, new learning facilities and commercial standard conferencing rooms.
A scope of works ranging from the initial strip-out, through remedial works, M&E alterations, builders works, all-trade fit-out, decoration and manufacture of bespoke joinery items. All aspects were delivered seamlessly and to a standard that met the expectations of this exacting client.
The building remained occupied throughout the duration of this contract bringing with it complex access, programming and Health & Safety issues. Through early-stage discussion with the design team, academia, and student representatives, the project was successfully achieved within the tight timescales and on budget.
