This full alteration and refurbishment of shell, core and guest bedrooms on a tight access, city centre site was carried out by negotiation after our initial project refurbishing the George Hotel (more details on that project here).

From the start of this project, we helped the wider project team find optimised outcomes from sample rooms to final details. Best value was found; phasing and programmes were optimised to suit the hotel alongside the overall aims of the project and the works completed for an ultimately delighted Client.

There were some structural works opening up an area for a new restaurant and public areas. Part was formed and fitted out with an external concession restaurant: Baba. The Garden bar and lounge area is now internationally award-winning and recognised – partly for it’s Biophilic design – read more about The Garden here. A significant amount of fabric works were carried out to bring the exterior of the building to a higher standard on the stone, windows and roof. Internally, all of the rooms, kitchens and back of house areas were significantly refurbished and pieces including the casegoods, period features and bars throughout were manufactured in our Inchinnan based factory.
