Over the last year, we delivered a series of complex hotel refurbishments, overseeing planning, on-site logistics, and in-house manufactured joinery. The team worked to tight schedules while maintaining high standards throughout. Each project required careful sequencing and close attention to detail. We completed bedrooms, public spaces, and front-of-house areas promptly, maintaining consistency and a polished finish throughout.

Ardbeg House

At Ardbeg House, Islay, we transformed the former Islay Hotel into a unique 12-bedroom destination for The Glenmorangie Company. The full fit-out included bedrooms, bar, restaurant, and external areas. In addition, it required extensive bespoke joinery and collaboration with over 20 local artisans. The finished hotel has been recognised as one of the UK’s best, named Hotel of the Year by The Times, offering an immersive experience that reflects Islay’s whisky heritage and craftsmanship.

Motel One, Edinburgh

We delivered the fit-out of Motel One Edinburgh, Princes Street, completing a full transformation across 140 bedrooms and public spaces. During the process, the hotel remained fully operational. Works were carefully phased to minimise disruption to guests and included new wallpapers, decorative finishes, and bespoke furniture crafted in our in-house workshop. From bedroom headboards and wardrobes to a striking reception desk designed to resemble three distinct furniture pieces. We reconfigured the public areas to improve guest flow, repositioned the breakfast bar, reception desk, and new bar, creating a more welcoming and functional environment. The result is a cohesive, refreshed interior that enhances both the guest experience and day-to-day operational efficiency.

Residence Inn by Marriott

At Residence Inn by Marriott, Edinburgh, we refurbished 107 guest rooms and public areas, building on our original fit-out from ten years ago. The team coordinated deliveries, installations, and on-site logistics on a tight schedule, working within limited storage space and keeping the hotel fully operational. We upgraded the bedrooms with in-house manufactured joinery and refreshed fittings. While front-of-house areas received refreshed reception, back bars, buffet counters, and privacy screens. Every element was installed and finished to exacting standards, ensuring a seamless, functional, and high-quality environment throughout the property.
