#NoWrongPath Campaign

As this week marks the release of the 2019 SQA Exam Results Thomas Johnstone Ltd will be partaking in the NoWrongPath Campaign, a social media movement which aims to provide inspiration and reassurance to young people receiving their exam results.

With the recognition that some young people may be disheartened by their exam results this campaign aims to show that many people in interesting job roles across Scotland may not have taken a straight, obvious or traditional path to get there.

NoWrongPath aims to present young people with the variety of options available to them and that exams results are not necessarily the key to unlocking future success.

Stay tuned this week to learn about the TJL Team and their journeys from exam results day to now!

Barnbougle Castle Royally Restored!

Regal, radiant and recently renovated, Thomas Johnstone Ltd were delighted to provide refurbishment works and modern services at Barnbougle Castle.

Positioned on the shore of the Firth of Forth near South Queensferry, Barnbougle Castle was rebuilt as a tower house by the Hamiltons in the 16th and 17th centuries and has now been restored with the stonework, window joinery and slate roofing all overhauled to ensure the castle is fit for a king or queen. Thomas Johnstone Ltd are thrilled to have completed the internal refurbishment works and services as well as some external activities.

Ground Broken at Terumo Aortic!

We have broken ground at our neighbour Terumo Aortic’s manufacturing facility in Inchinnan with the material being removed from site for recycling.

The site will eventually be the home of the new 2 storey cleanroom facility for the manufacture of surgical grafts which we are constructing. A glass roofed, steel framed atrium is also being built to let in plenty of light and house Terumo Aortic’s new main reception.

Thanks to the Design Team - Terumo Aortic, Thomas & Adamson, Lee Boyd Architects and Will Rudd Davidson.

Monday Morning Updates

A great view for a Monday morning as the underfloor heating works continue on site at this private residential project on the Isle of Bute.

Once complete this project will be an incredible home with desirable views of some of Scotland’s finest scenery!
